Who are Carelia Petits products destined to?
They have been developed with plant extracts and gentle oils suitable for the sensitive skin of the little ones, they feel fit and safe from the first day of your baby.
How safe are our cosmetics?
Our products have been dermatologically tested. They are so soft that they are even suitable for sensitive and atopic skin.
Quality and safety operating under the new regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and the Council on cosmetic products.
In case your child has allergies, you should consult a doctor before using any new product on their skin, because our products contain almond oil and shea butter.
Why has Carelia been developed?
Because, at Carelia, we love our children, and we want to share our range with your children, aware as we are that loving them means loving ourselves.
Because natural plant ingredients are more in tune with the structure of the skin. Did you know that about 60% of the creams and lotions we use on our skin are absorbed by the body? The chemical products we use every day increase the risk of negative effects on your child's future and your future.

What's their pH?
It is about simple formulas created to protect and pamper your baby's skin. Particularly suitable Neutral pH close to 7.
Do they contain gluten?
Our products are Gluten free.
¿Does Carelia test their products on animals?
No, we do not test our products on animals, and we do not use animal ingredients. All the tests we perform are run with human volunteers.
We guarantee their safety by using ingredients traditionally used and proven efficiency. And we preserve the quality of our products with non-toxic soft preservatives.
How long is a product preserved before its opening?
Our products and formulas have a proven stability for more than 36 months .
How long is the product preserved after opening ?
On our labels have a pictogram representing an open jar indicating the recommended period of use after the container is opened, which is 12 months (12M) . After this period, the product may lose some of its properties and effectiveness but it may still be used.
Why do not we offer an organic certification?
Organic certification does not mean better quality, though, we only use ingredients authorized by Ecocert. The eco-label is not a purpuse itself for Carelia.
Is the fragrance used synthetic or of natural origin?
Essential oils are known for the risk of allergy and photosensitivity associated to them therefore, we prefer the fragrance extracted from synthetic molecules to avoid the risk of sensitivity in such delicate and sensitive skin as the babies and children.
Is Carelia packaging sustainable ?
Our packaging does not contain BPA (bisphenol-A). They are made of HDPE (high density polyethylene) and glass, both easily recyclable. We care about protecting the environment because it is part of the philosophy of Carelia.
We also collaborate actively with Ecoembes for the preservation of the environment.
Who can use Carelia?
Our entire care range has been specially developed to protect the skin health of all genders, ages and skin types, including atopic skin which requires specific attention.
Where are the products made?
Each of our products has been developed and manufactured close to home, in Spain.
I am allergic to cow milk protein, is it safe to use any Carelia product that contains lactic acid in its formula?
Yes, it is, because our lactic acid is obtained through the biofermentation of sugars of plant origin such as beetroot or corn
